Fleet Forum
The Fleet Forum is an interagency association of more than 40 members, including NGOs, international organisations, the UN, academic institutions, donors and corporate partners. Founded in 2003 as a joint initiative of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and World Vision International (WVI).
It is a collaborating body, which by drawing upon the expertise and input of multi-sectoral stakeholders, is able to stimulate the building of humanitarian transport capacity to positively impact the delivery of aid & development programmes. Engaging with the commercial sector as a part of their corporate social responsibility strategies, the Fleet Forum acts as a neutral interface to draw on private sector resources to achieve its humanitarian transport objectives.
